As a truck driver, Charlie’s employer was diminishing his hours, and he needed to make some extra income for his family. So he started selling Tacos in front of his house. The rest was history. The recipe and cooking techniques comes from his father Carlos who owned a catering business in Highland Park, and taught Charlie the traditional cooking styles of Jalisco; and, with followers all over Los Angeles, and making his mark in the Highland Park Community.
